Krista Chichester

Krista is a native Washingtonian who grew up in McLean and Great Falls and currently lives in Vienna. She has been teaching indoor cycle since 2002 at various clubs in the area, most notably The White House Athletic Center. After many years of her patrons asking her to open her own cycle studio, she finally did and attributes the birth of Cycle Chi to all of the wonderful cycle students who inspired her (you know who you are!). Krista is cycle certified by Schwinn, Keiser and GEAR, and holds an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, TRX and ACE Parkinson's Cycle Certifications.

Heidi Ringer

Heidi Ringer has been in the fitness industry for over 24 years. She holds a B.S. in Fitness and Sports Science, and certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist), Functional Movement Screening (Levels 1 & 2), American Council on Exercise (Certified Personal Trainer), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (Group Exercise Instructor), Johnny G (Spin) and is also certified Kettlebell Instructor. She is a personal trainer who specializes in large and small group personal training and teaches a wide variety of group exercise classes.

Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Heidi defines home as wherever her family is. Blessed with an amazing husband (Lt Col Joseph Ringer) who is in the Air Force, and two awesome kids (Madison 12, Caleb 9) they are never in one place for very long. Being active with her husband and kids is her favorite way to spend her time.

Rachel Stott

Rachel discovered the benefits of cycling over 8 years ago when a friend invited her to come to a spin class. She loves what cycling does for the mind, body and spirit all the while being fun! Her goal is to help everyone feel successful, energized and have positive energy after a class. She is cycle certified by Madd Dog and Schwinn and is AFAA Group Exercise Certified. Rachel moved to Vienna in 2012 with her husband, Steve and her children Aidan, Zoe and Natey.

Gina Buhrman

Gina's mission as a fitness instructor is to help improve flexibility, balance, and strength through workouts that are fun and energetic. In 2012 she received her first kettlebell certification and continued training into 2013 receiving the coveted RKC (Russian Kettlebell Certified instructor) certificate. Gina believes she has found the fountain of youth in kettlebells! In 2014 she became a AFAA Group fitness instructor. She enjoys combining her certified knowledge in TRX and Jillian Michael's BodyShred into her classes as well as some SurfSET moves combined with the dynamic movements involved with kettlebell training.

Patty Carver

A lifelong athlete, road bike enthusiast, and former Marine Corps Officer, Patty brings broad experience to her classes and enjoys helping each rider to reach their own potential. She earned her Schwinn certification at Cycle Chi and is thrilled to be giving back to a community that has helped her so much. Patty believes wholeheartedly in the benefits of healthy nutrition in combination with regular exercise, and even grows her own microgreens and brews kombucha. When not on a bike, Patty is a passionate high school science and global education teacher. Be ready to work hard and have fun with your fellow riders.

Robert Simon

Robert grew up in Fairfax, VA and attended high school at Thomas Jefferson, where he played football and baseball. After attending UVA for his undergraduate degree, he went to George Mason University for his Masters in Statistical Science. There he began to incorporate diet and exercise into his lifestyle – he took his first indoor cycling class in 2012 and was immediately hooked. Shortly thereafter, he began to ride outside and has been a regular on the W&OD trail ever since. Robert has been teaching spin since 2015; he is certified as a Schwinn Cycling instructor and an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. His teaching style involves a lot of heart-pumping Sprint Intervals.
