Krista is a native Washingtonian who grew up in McLean and Great Falls and currently lives in Vienna. She has been teaching indoor cycle for the last fourteen years at various clubs in the area, most notably The White House Athletic Center. After many years of her patrons asking her to open her own cycle studio, she finally did and attributes the birth of Cycle Chi to all of the wonderful cycle students who inspired her (you know who you are!). Krista is certified by Schwinn, Keiser, GEAR, TRX and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor.
Tracey has been teaching group fitness since 1990 and spinning since 1997. Her certifications include AFAA Group Fitness, KeiserM3 Bike, Reebok Cycle Foundation, Tabata Bootcamp and TRX Functional Training. Tracey enjoys every kind of activity but she especially loves to bike having done several bike excursions around the USA with my husband, Dave. Tracey has two daughters, Alexandra (25 yrs) who lives/works in San Francisco and Katie (22 yrs) who is attending med school at GW. Her exercise philosophy is all about correct form and keeping your body fit by any kind of movement to be able to lead a healthy life style.
Rachel discovered the benefits of cycling over 8 years ago when a friend invited her to come to a spin class. She loves what cycling does for the mind, body and spirit all the while being fun! Her goal is to help everyone feel successful, energized and have positive energy after a class. She is certified by Madd Dog and Schwinn. Rachel moved to Vienna 5 years ago with her husband, Steve and her children Aidan, Zoe and Natey.
Tommy was born and raised in the D.C. area, and has been involved in the fitness industry since receiving his undergraduate degree in May of 2015. After spending four years as a collegiate varsity athlete, he began his coaching career immediately following graduation. He currently serves as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at the Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, DC, where he helps coordinate the strength and conditioning program. He will be pursuing graduate study in Psychology at CUA starting in the fall of 2017. Tommy holds certifications in strength and conditioning from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), and indoor cycling from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Gina's mission as a fitness instructor is to help improve flexibility, balance, and strength through workouts that are fun and energetic. In 2012 she received her first kettlebellcertification and continued training into 2013 receiving the coveted RKC (Russian KettlebellCertified instructor) certificate. Gina believes she has found the fountain of youth in kettlebells! With her training and eagerness to teach she started a neighborhood bootcamp. In 2014 she became a AFAA Group fitness instructor and leads several classes at a local gym. Gina claims all of her classes will have a kettlebell involved in it. She enjoys combining her certified knowledge in TRX and Jillian Michael's BodyShred into her classes as well as some SurfSET moves combined with the dynamic movements involved with kettlebelltraining.
Dwayne was born in Winchester, Virginia and moved to the Northern Virginia area after high school in 2013. After competitive BMX riding, Dwayne got his certification through MAD DOGG Spinning in 2013 and hasbeen teaching in the area since.His motto through class has remained "Repetition Plus Addition Equals Growth" Dwayne currently studies Theatre Performance at George Mason University and can often be found performing in the DC Area.
